Expert Fast3CreditScores Review 2018

Review the best credit report services

Overview

Since company inception in 1992, Fast3CreditScores has provided credit monitoring services and credit scores from all three major credit bureaus. Following your three bureau score enables you to track discrepancies and or catch identity breaches that may appear on any one of your credit reports. Their excellent 24/7 monitoring services are available in 49 states, except Rhode Island.

Fact3creditscores offers its customers a monthly 3 bureau score, is PCI compliant, and provides daily credit monitoring alerts and ID theft services.

Sign Up and Pricing

Sign up is simple and user friendly. On the first screen, you will enter your complete basic information (full name, address), while the second screen will ask for your date of birth, your Social Security number, your billing information, and ask you to create and verify a password. You will then be asked to complete a short multiple-choice security questionnaire where you will provide answers to questions only you can answer. Once you complete the sign-up process, you will have access to your credit scores.

Fast3CreditScores offers a free 14-day trial- the only provider to make our list that does so. Once you enter your details and sign up, enjoy Fast3creditscores services free for 14 days, after which you can easily cancel, or decide to remain with their service at $19.99 per month.

Credit Monitoring and Fraud Protection

In addition to your monthly 3 bureau credit score, Fast3CreditScores provides full comprehensive credit monitoring services including daily monitoring alerts, a credit information hotline, and identity theft support services. All these features are available to help ensure you maintain a good credit score, or improve it if needed.

Their credit-monitoring feature will track and notify you immediately if there are any changes to your account, hard inquiries to your credit report, or if information potentially harmful to your score is introduced or detected.

The only downside to Fast3CreditScores is that when calculating your score, they do not use your FICO score, but your CreditXpert® score. The CreditXpert® score, sold by Equifax (one of the 3 bureaus), is an educational score calculated by using credit information from all three bureaus, but not FICO. Your CreditXpert® score is not as reliable as your FICO score as it utilizes a score range of 350 to 850, while FICO uses a range of 300 to 850. Lenders usually do not take your CreditXpert® score into consideration when evaluating you for approval.

Customer Support

Fast3CreditScores offers basic but satisfactory customer service due to the fact you only receive contact phone numbers after sign up. Once you have obtained membership, you will be provided with a Credit Information Hotline number and access to 24/7 ID Theft Support services.

Their highly trained ID Theft professionals will advise you on the proper course of action to take in the event your identity is stolen, and will help walk you through the process on how to best resolve the issue.

Disclaimer

Your credit scores are provided by CreditXpert, Inc. and indicate your relative credit risk level for educational purposes. They may vary between bureaus and are not the scores used by lenders. Your scores may not be identical or similar to scores you receive directly from credit agencies or other sources.

Daily monitoring will notify you of certain new inquiries and derogatory information, accounts, public records, or change of address that have been added to your credit reports as reported by one of the major credit reporting agencies. If no information has been added or changed, then you will receive a quarterly notification stating that no information has changed within your credit file.

Fast3CreditScores is a service of Trilegiant Corporation. Any part of the Fast3CreditScores service may be modified or improved at any time and without prior notice. Fast3CreditScores is not available to residents of Rhode Island. Fast3CreditScores is a service mark of Affinion Publishing LLC.
